that when you send it, complying clients* will automatically remove your @ from any new replies to that post
* or maybe complying servers? or maybe your server just strips it out -

* or maybe complying servers? or maybe your server just strips it out@navi I think just the home server stripping you out and not notifying you is the best solution, doesn't require communication that needs to be implemented/handled/respected by all parties involved.
