I guess that stuff is more common now. I experienced Frankfurt very much the way you described St. Pauli. Lots of .... very stange interactions there, way too many drugs, very openly ... crack pipes.

I was in St. Pauli not too long ago, it did not look that bad? Maybe it's just the area you are in?
