Given that they recently acquired two AI companies, though, it's also a pretty good bet that integrating AI will be part of the "value" proposition.

Needless to say, I won't be paying for any version of Affinity that makes generative AI integration compulsory.
If they sneak it into a v2 update, I'll just delete the whole suite.
And I definitely won't be switching to a subscription.

I switched to Affinity because it was the Brother printers of publishing and design suites. If it ceases to be that, then I'll jump ship in a heartbeat.

Apparently, the new Affinity Discord is just totally unmoderated on the weekends, which has not been lost on at least one racist/homophobic troll.
