Well, yes you little dumb fuck. Because getting zapped once can make you fall into cardiac arrest up to 72 hours later, so it can be deadly.
Touched a live wire once and drove straight to the hospital even there was no blood visible. HURR DURR!

Though preventing an accident is always preferable but this is the next best thing when it happens@stefan@akko.lightnovel-dungeon.de Electrical safety is always about not working with live wires. Always disconnect first and the make sure it is disconnected (In Germany the words to Google are "Die 5 Sicherheitsregeln"), but sometimes you have to measure stuff then it has to be live.
and: the electrical wiring (no matter if building or cabinet) can be wrong or faulty. Getting zapped is easier than many people think, even with all of that precautions and special rules -

@grillchen@brotka.st because some people think that it's only reasonable to go to the hospital when you have a big visible wound that bleeds.
