@gvwilson I know about the very recent shutdown of Retrospring (a Q&A website), afaik bc it got too big to maintain.
The developer and admin of that site made some blog posts about it that went unpublished (except: https://blog.retrospring.net/retrospring-is-shutting-down-on-1st-march-2025), but maybe @pixel can give some insights, if he's interested to talk about the process. I'm sure he's already working on his post-mortem either way.
