I used to enjoy putting eggs on my bread. Since going vegan, I’ve found a good replacement: avocado for the texture and kala namak for the flavor. It tastes just as you would expect; if not better, in my opinion.

@foxhkron I'd try that if avocado wouldn't taste absolutely revolting to me. I think i have the same thing some people have with brocoli, just for avocado. It has a very strong, disgusting flavor to me.

@catraxx@tech.lgbt that’s interesting, avocado has no flavor for me at all. you can also use (natural) tofu, though that has a different texture of course — it’s what I use as a replacement for scrambled eggs

@foxhkron From what i know about brocoli (which tastes fine to me) is that it has a specific sulfur compound which only like a third of the population can detect to various degrees. I wonder if avocado has something similar, because it most definitively tastes of sulfur to me.
