But I could shower with warm water.
Because we had very sunny days, the two solar thermal collectors heated the water enough to be able to shower quickly.

@fabos@der.cyberterror.ist Its more complex than just that.
it seems that our heating system was sized too small for 20 parties living in our appartment bulding so all the components gets quite some wear and tear.
The heating fan already failed once in November and now the support pump for the heating circuit has probably failed, which has killed the inverter with the control electronics and then the fan has blown again.
The control electronics and the pump could probably be replaced straight away, but the fan had to be delivered by overnight express.
I'll know this afternoon whether we have regular hot water again.
