      every time I read people thinking they owned the libs and became our savior with a hot take, I want to counteract that by writing my ideal OS thingie

        anyway, what we need is not to match macOS (which we already largely do, as argued… and even then I think GNOME does some things better) — we need to break down the monolithic app metaphor entirely, making development a bit easier won't fundamentally fix anything

        stop trying to copy their culture, let's push for our own
