Yes, but you see, if my life revolves around us-east-1 and it goes down, then my day will be incredibly uneventful as I cannot do anything other than wait. HOWEVER if I self host everything and my home server explodes, fixing this becomes an urgent priority for me ! Cloud outages are boring, sensory deprivation core. Home outages are exciting, and provide enrichment for the little twink that lives in my head;!!!! Who wouldn't want enrichment?????? -
