public fediverse instance owners, what are you planning to do to comply with the UK's online safety act, which makes it very difficult for smaller social media websites to function?

boosts appreciated for more responses!@mjdxp I'm not from the UK but I have some UK users on my instance
I was considering adding a note to the T&Cs that would hopefully allow me to do this without ID verification (because the last thing I want to handle is data like this, let alone with a third-party) but I haven't done so yet - so I'm just hoping that they don't enforce it well enough lol

I'm not in the UK and can suggest UK lawmakers go fuck themselves.
If some of my users were from UK, I would provide them proxies for free so they could continue accessing fedi from my instance.
