      @mjdxp I'm not from the UK but I have some UK users on my instance ​

      I was considering adding a note to the T&Cs that would hopefully allow me to do this without ID verification (because the last thing I want to handle is data like this, let alone with a third-party) but I haven't done so yet - so I'm just hoping that they don't enforce it well enough lol

        @awoo @mjdxp as far as this one understands they can't go after fedi instances because no instance has enough users to cross the threshold of needing verification so you're probably good

            I'm not in the UK and can suggest UK lawmakers go fuck themselves.

            If some of my users were from UK, I would provide them proxies for free so they could continue accessing fedi from my instance.
