    Germany is discussing an age limit for social media.

    And the fun bit (once again) is that all the experts and the German Child Protection Association just say that this isn't helping, but media literacy and education would help.

    There is only one problem: Some bullshit law everybody will ignore doesn't cost any money and is something the tabloits can write about as an success.

          @Erpel Also, so far their solution has been to sell us out to google on top of everything. I sometimes wonder if if these are the news for the right country ...

                    @frawst@fedi.fraw.st We can't make sure to get age verification as the UK law asks for, so it is not allowed to use this site when you are inside the UK.
