It would be cool to have a pen pal and write old-school letters again.

I might not have much time to write, but it would be nice to use this old method of getting in touch with someone.
Writing with a real pen and ink on real paper.
Not doing the keyboard smashing and stuff.
I used to do this with two old friends, but one blocked me completely and I haven't been a good friend to the other lately. I'd first have to talk to her in person again before picking up the letter writing.
Maybe @prettygood@socially.drinkingatmy.computer would be interested... -

@kura @prettygood@socially.drinkingatmy.computer As I wrote I used to do this, sometimes even several pages long but you really have to stick to it!
Like, the first instance you have time to write a letter back do it, ebcause otherwise you will forget about it and it will stop.
Thats what at least happened to my pen pals... -

Also never had a pen pal, so I don't know what to write about (at this point in time ) -

Had some of my best conversations via letters. -

@prettygood@socially.drinkingatmy.computer Ofc.. but isn't that expensive to keep a PO box just for some random letter every six to ten weeks?

@prettygood@socially.drinkingatmy.computer Would be like 30€ / year for a private person here...
Don't think it would be much mor expensive in the US
