        @volpeon We're using 22" 1080p at 100%, so uhhh, maybe 150%? But I'm not sure. We can't afford either 27" or 4K, haha!

          @volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip I'm using 200% but mostly because fractional scaling kinda sucks

          Tbh I'd rather have a screen at maybe 1440p where you can use 100% scaling, for most use cases

              @volpeon probably 125 or 130% given that i run my 23” 1440” at 100% scaling

                @volpeon I wanted a big screen that just works (even/especially with legacy software).

                And FullHD is regrettably still "the standard".

                So instead of UI scaling + hoping, I simply stay with the same resolution as everyone else...

                  @volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip (though 200% does give really nice font rendering)

                        @volpeon It depends on my distance from the screen and other variables, but usually at close range I'll tell software to assume the screen's physical DPI, plus/minus 25%. #lang_en

                            Fun fact: Some C#/XAML UIs simply scale-up-then-blur parts of the UI.

                            "Is it me or is the UI blurry?"

                            takes screenshot, zooms in

                                I don't use ui scaling, I just adjust the display resolution. Nobody can read 12pt text in 4k, why have we wrought that which we cannot use?

                                      @volpeon I plug the monitor in, it displays cute anime girls.

                                      And then one day it turns out the aspect ratio breaks wc3.
