    I'm still bummed Affinity doesn't run well on Linux yet. Some people said they daily drive it and that got my hopes up. I couldn't even use it for 5 minutes without hitting crippling bugs

        @jeder I haven't tested V1 tbf, but V2 and V3 behaved identically

          I first read this as FA not working on Linux, and my immediate thought was what the heck did their holy incompetence do this time

            @volpeon
            Just yesterday I got V3 working great following this: https://github.com/seapear/AffinityOnLinux/

            I had the best results using the patched Wine in Lutris, but even the plain Wine 10.17 method worked, although slightly inferior because there's a minor issue of the canvas flickering when zooming, and the window edges are weird when maximized because it draws a drop shadow that doesn't appear with the patched Wine.

            The only bug I've encountered is that most global settings don't save which is annoying and the main known bug: https://github.com/seapear/AffinityOnLinux/blob/main/Guides/Settings.md

                @nytpu That's the guide I followed as well. The flickering is really bad for me to the point I can't work with the software in this state. I think it's exacerbated by me having to bump up the UI DPI to 192 in order to make it work with my 4K displays.
                Apart from these two issues, there's also paths outlines not matching their actual shape. It's listed under known issues.

                  This doesn't show that the performance is noticeably degraded, too. Probably because hardware acceleration doesn't work. V3 is exactly the same. Nobody can blame me for not putting up with this
