Current state of Chat Control is 5 opposing, 15 supporting and 7 undecided. It's looking a bit dark, but there's ONE outcome still that can block it and that's if Germany votes no.

If Germany says no, there'll be 6 countries opposing with more than 35% of the EU population and we'll achive a blocking minority.

So Germany, it's up to you now!

@zeenix @rtn In germany? Very rare to find non technical people using anything but whatsapp. It's straight up a requirement in many jobs and hobbies.

@catraxx @zeenix @rtn in rural areas, yes. In Berlin the only people I know that don't have Signal have no WhatsApp eighter ️ but maybe that's just the bubble I live in (mostly left wing radicals)?
