I think Lunduke has a net-negative effect on the FOSS community.
By damaging the reputation (deserved or not) of major projects, he alienates more people than he converts.
Worse, I think he drives the very division he claims to be wanting to eliminate.
I would not be surprised if many FOSS projects become more overtly hostile (or at least defensive) in light of past engagement.
I worry that he is leveraging long-standing resentment (justified or not) to attack FOSS, rather than to actually build it up to be what many of us would like it to be. -
