    Half of the snakeoil industry of this day and age is about turning devices which work perfectly fine analog into battery driven nonsense. And then making it so that using the alternative is difficult or impossible, see headphones.

    Fucking stop. Not everything needs to be this way, support good solutions and alternatives. Think before letting them drag you into the "But if you safe one second each day then after a few years ..." logic loop. You can not imagine the amount of trash we will soon produce on top of everything else.

    If you thought that one use vapes were bad, you are not prepared to the mountain of bad headphones, fucking self propelled zippers and led shirts we will soon be sitting on.

        @krutonium Sure for special purposes. I'm pretty sure the first thing techbros think of is to display ads on you, though.
