how the hell does firefox do this better

honestly I'm slowly losing any illusion that chromium is superior to firefox in any way
is it faster? yes, but not meaningfully
is it better hardened? for sure, but most people don't care
other than these two specific aspects it is as much of a busted mess as firefox if not worse, it really doesn't matter that they have a bigger budget
the web was a mistake

in terms of features that actually empower the user chromium is straight up losing the race because they are deliberately fucking it up

"i use chrome because it's faster!"
ublock origin nullifies this entire argument
it has always been superior in firefox because of more powerful APIs, the webrequest nerf forcing static block lists was the last nail in chrome's coffin
