i use my native language every day and i often have to stop speaking for a moment to remember a word in it that i definitely DO remember in english

i know some words in ua/ru that i don't know in english and vice versa

@skye this also isn't made better by the fact that it mostly talks about entire topics either fully in russian or in english/very broken russian-english combination

like. force it to talk about anything having to do with IT without resorting to english words and it will fail after a sentence or two

@risc @halva it also isn't helped by the fact that IT especially but to a lesser extent also music production of less popular genres are very international and as such have lots of english words that just get used in almost every language when discussing the fields

@skye yeah lol. the only way for e.g. russian IT to become free of english words would be to replace every programmer with a 1С expert

like, with git. "commits" could probably be translated as "точки сохранения" or smth, "refs" could be translated as "ссылки". however, nobody translates the former, and almost nobody translates the latter

we should start translating "GC" as "дворник" or smth
