    @awoo i mean, i'd use a label on the outside for that?

    @4censord it would need labels on both the enclosure and on the SSD though, and I don't have a label printer lol

      (this is intentional. i'm carrying it to a chaos event and while I don't want them to access my data, I do want them to know how to return it, should I misplace it.)

      @awoo is not better to mark it deep over the surface of the ssd case (scissors or similar unless is nvme...)?

        @echedellelr could do, but it would require labels on both the SSD itself and the enclosure, sooo-

          @awoo ah, is just a ssd with a case...

          i thought that was the typical sandisk portable and such which cannot be opened without breaking the case and such.

              @tauon I don't have a pen that can write onto plastics, and I also don't have a label printer.

              so yeah I literally can't :neobot_shocked:

                    @awoo is oki cutie mew

                    offers pats if wanted

                    Repartitioning encrypted SSD is not something I have seen supported and most guides if not all suggest to delete everything and create the partitions again with just the ones you want being encrypted.
