Hiya cuties~

This sure isn't an easy post to write... I know I haven’t been around on the Fediverse the way I used to, and I wanted to share a little from my heart after thinking and mulling it over multiple times.

My experiences this year on the Fediverse have taught me just how important it is to protect my peace and put my energy where it can truly grow. That’s why I’ve been spending more time on YouTube and on the creative work I love.

I also want to share something that might help anyone else navigating online spaces in the future:

🩵 You don’t owe anyone explanations for your struggles. Your well-being comes first and you should never apologize for that.
🩷 Rest isn’t weakness; it’s how we heal and stay strong.
🤍 Boundaries matter, especially if you identify a parasocial relationship or one-sided "online friendship" forming.
🩷 Walking away from people or situations that overwhelm or hurt you isn’t failing. It’s courage.
🩵 Your voice, your art, and your presence still matter, even when you need quiet moments to recharge.

Thank you to everyone who stays here, shares this space, and fills this little corner of the internet with kindness. You make it possible for me to keep creating, growing, and building something beautiful. I love and appreciate you all more than words can say.

I’ll still be here, still posting and drawing, but my responses and interactions will take a step back from now on. If you miss the kind of genuine interaction I used to have here, I warmly invite you to join me on my Discord server or consider subscribing to my YouTube channel. Those are the spaces where I’ll be most active moving forward.

@catraxx@tech.lgbt I'm unfortuanetly tied to these things, its part of the nature of what I do. Thats why I don't want to take a full exit, my friends are here and I always want to stay in contact with them... but there are also issues here. That can't be ignored any longer.

@catraxx@tech.lgbt I won't get into specifics but a lot of folks here don't respect boundries and I'm tired of being dragged into personal dramas I have absolutely nothing to do with just because I might have a small YouTube following. Its ridiculous.
