        @0x6e6174 true, the iPhone 5/5s/SE 1 was the perfect form factor for phones, with the mini iPhones 12 and 13 being close to that imo

        though it can definitely be made thicker

          @awoo@gts.apicrim.es it doesn't understand why they started making phones have glass backs. "wow, I sure wish this rectangle was very slippery and would fall off of any surface not perfectly flat" ????

            @0x6e6174 i suppose it's mainly for wireless charging (which is a nice-to-have imo) and as a fingerprint magnet which is perfect for The Feds but yeah they should've sticked with a metal back (or even one made out of actually high-quality plastic!!)

                  @0x6e6174 I still tend to prefer wired over wireless charging whenever possible though
