I was added to an additional jour fixe, RIP my Mondays

@volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip How many fonyou have? I have one. And my boss has two which is the one I am part of and another one to report "up" so to say.

Why would you need more than that?

@Legion495 We are two teams with pretty different responsibilities, but sometimes my boss gives me tasks for the other team because there's some degree of overlap. This time my tasks are big enough to warrant being in the other team's jour fixe, too.

@volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip How long do they take? We plan one hour each but we are basically done in 30 minutes if nothing special is going on.

@Legion495 Same here. It's still annoying, though, because they're between the mandatory morning break and lunch break. With one jour fixe, I could still work on bigger tasks between these two breaks, but now I have less than 1 consecutive hour and I don't want to do bigger tasks because I'd probably get interrupted by something.

@volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip some of these are only every two weeks, but they mostly balance with jour fixe which are every other two weeks ​​ and then there is a jour fixe thats only once a month but someone went and ruined and put a jour fixe in the same time slot in all the other weeks, just with a slightly reduced number of people...

not having to work in projects makes life easier

@Johann150 @Erpel I got some of these, too, with jour fixes every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks... ​​
