@awoo isn’t the 8 off a bit? Calibri has two strokes crossing, this seems to have the bottom left/top right slightly disconnected?
@jay well it could be the camera angle or the printing method DB used for labels of this kind-
to me it definitely looks like Calibri or similar fonts ^^" -

@awoo Ah yes, the universal indicator of “I don’t get paid enough, I’ll just make this sign in microsoft word”

@olivvybee I wouldn't be surprised (though I would be sad) if someone at DB InfraGO Geschäftsbereich Personenbahnhöfe would have the impression of being underpaid, epsecially in the "new states" of Germany (ex-GDR)

@awoo To be fair an alternative option could be “the wrong person was asked to make this and they have no idea how these things are normally done”
My personal belief is simply that no one purposefully chooses calibri

@olivvybee tbh I would go through the effort of purposefully choosing Calibri lol

@awoo i cannot for the life of me find a font that's similar to calibri but has that ß (rounded instead of with a sharp bump where the
ſ
ands
meet) -
@jay yeah it's absolutely none of the Deutsche Bahn fonts
