Chromebooks also exist.
And dell also has a bunch of notebooks with USB-C ports.
A lot of devices actually by now. Also USB-A doesn't have thunderbolt, can't be used for charging, can't be used to transport a display signal, ...

The main issue I've with usb-c is that no extension cables exist that have 1:1 ALL pins straight through (because of idiots).

my phone charger uses an usb-c usb-c cable to connect to the font and it's literally the most useless thing ever
had to buy a usb-c usb-a cable within the first month for data transfer T_T
