@becomethewaifu @ada This one was inspired by me looking at a Teledyne LeCroy D420-A active differential probe on the holder and thinking it looked like a crane (see https://www.teledynelecroy.com/images/wavelink_4to6_ghz.png)
The board is a random PCIe to 1G SFP NIC I had lying around the lab, slightly tweaked by the artist to chibify it.
@becomethewaifu @ada This piece was inspired by a bunch of inner layer PCB rework I was doing at the time. The board layout is based on a real design that I never finished, but I had a screenshot handy to show to the artist.
If you're familiar with underground utility locate markings, at least in the US, you'll see I spent quite a while making the site prep accurate
