I will die on the hill of social media being the worst place to post your art. sure it'll get engagement but it's ephemeral and people won't see it again for a week and it'll be super hard for you to find it later as well. we need dedicated art sites more than anything

activitypub isn't easy to understand either but everything that implements it is built in a way where you sort of understand how it works the more you use it

I'm sure atproto is good but every single technical explanation about it that I read looks like "bibme is now part of chegg, likes are now florps, poob has it for you"
