@catraxx ah, right you are. I mean, they could have the degoogling done by someone else and then don't want to bother them with every minor thing, but yeah, for the majority, it should work well enough out of the box. I hope it does, because if I find that Signal finally works well for me, I'll attempt to force all my Telegram contacts onto it.

@catraxx looks usable, though it's not exactly suitable for mass use by people regardless of tech skill, right?

@catraxx I'm just now trying signal with a friend after a while again and it still doesn't seem to push notifications very reliably without google services
