@Erpel i did tutoring and homework for students a while ago for money and they usually didn't care at all. they were the "i like gaming and my rich parents want me to get a degree" kind of students.

the worst in this regard was when a senior dev complained about my code because he didn't know single-line comments were a thing in c99...

normies don't have the media literacy to exist online or touch computers at all imho

when i worked at the cinema we had a customer once complain that a movie was apparently supposed to run, but no tickets were available for that day.
turns out that customer just searched for our cinema and the schedule and followed the ai generated "search result" without even understanding what that means.
it took a while for us to figure out what the hell went wrong, and a lot more time to explain to that customer what ai generated text is and how it's not something published by the cinema.
