@catraxx I still have some hope. Haven't Germany traditionally been very careful about things like privacy?

Current state of Chat Control is 5 opposing, 15 supporting and 7 undecided. It's looking a bit dark, but there's ONE outcome still that can block it and that's if Germany votes no.

If Germany says no, there'll be 6 countries opposing with more than 35% of the EU population and we'll achive a blocking minority.

So Germany, it's up to you now!
