@Xylemon I think these were removed in Akkoma.

I'm fine, but mostly busy. How about you?

@a1ba Sorry for the delayed reply

I've been busy as well, just helped eukara push out a final update to our silly little quake sandbox mod, since some people kept asking and it had some bugs, so we did one last final update, was fun but took a bit of time and testing to get it really right (we've been trying to finish off all our old projects this summer)

also I sent this in the DMs but since they didn't go through, just wanted to say eukara and I saw your comment on that Rad Therapy 2 video, thank you for the kind words and technical feedback, thought it was really cool of you to say

@Xylemon hey, glad to hear from you.

thank you too, for the work on nuclide, it's really a groundbreaking project that deserves more attention from the modders.

in that comment I just wanted to explain the obvious benefit of running game code in a virtual machine because I often notice how hl modders, traumatized by cpp, feel slightly hostile against quakec, probably didn't even know how fteqc is much more friendly. But the comment turned out to be on the opposite side, instead ranting how hl modding scene relies too much on the native code capabilities. i guess that's just my perspective on the modding scene %)

@a1ba Sorry for the late reply... again... (ahhh)

          https://www.moddb.com/mods/qreate/news/qreate-11-the-final-update

The Quake mod is Qreate, it's basically Marco doing Go-Mod in Quake 🙂 Something he started a looong time ago, and I helped him out with a lot this time around, even figuring out why it wasn't working in the remaster.

Today was me finishing up EVERYTHING, from the SDK/Source Code to the Hotfix needed for the remaster, plus real life was keeping me busy (sorry again about that)

@a1ba Eukara and I are happy though to finally wrap it up 🙂

BTW, do you mind if I ask you a couple Half-Life mod related questions / some possible help?

@a1ba @a1ba do you know anything about this repo?
                https://github.com/nekonomicon/HeartOfEvil

This caught my eye because Heart of Evil released the map and model sources, along with the source code, but this git repo of the source code is the only copy I can find unfortunately. Naplam Edition released heavily altered map sources only, and we asked a dev of that project and they had nothing sadly

I ask because I know you've been reverse engineering and preserving a lot of mods as well, and it seems like you may know the person or they at least hang around in similar circles. Ultimately, I'd like to know where this copy of the source code came from, it'd be really helpful!

gunrunners-paradise uploaded archive with source code in FWGS's discord in 2020:

Later I found the same archive on moddb, but it was uploaded by SixCentGeorge(Author of Opposing Life2Life):
