        the PIS of this train is already saying "Take care and goodbye - Last stop. Please leave the train. Thank you for travelling with DB Regio, Freistaat Thüringen and Bahnland Bayern." and we're still 33 minutes away from the terminus lol

              @awoo the french don't even need high speed trains for that, surprisingly (was on a train from Rennes to Brest on Friday and it was like stopping only every 30 minutes and going 160 km/h in between)

                @hypha at least we know where our trains are going to leave from instead of having to awkwardly wait in the station hall for the platform to be announced /lh

                            @quinn that's actually good (and something the RE50 Dresden-Leipzig desperately needs (as well as many other regional express lines in Germany))
