@sun @pwm @volpeon deming had some scathing yet professional words for the harvard mba types and it was basically "they're taught everything about acquiring businesses and nothing about how to run one"

@sun @pwm @volpeon i'm pretty sure its just the investors wanted dividends so they fired everyone to make the numbers. now its a new fiscal quarter so they're hiring so some manager can grow his department.

there is no grand plan in most cases its just people following local perverse incentives.
